PS5 Pro India Release Confirmed: Upgraded V2 Model is Coming!

The Beast is Finally Here: PS5 Pro India Release Confirmed With a Massive Surprise!

Let’s be honest, being an Indian gamer is not easy. We wait years for big games, we pay heavy taxes on consoles, and recently, we had to sit back and watch the whole world play on the PS5 Pro while Sony told India to wait. But take a deep breath and get your wallets ready, because the ultimate gaming beast is finally making its way to our country, and we are actually getting a better deal than the rest of the world.

For months, everyone was confused about why the PS5 Pro was not launching in India. The real villain was the Indian government’s rules on the 6GHz Wi-Fi spectrum. The PS5 Pro uses the latest Wi-Fi 7 technology for super-fast, lag-free gaming, but that specific Wi-Fi band was restricted in India. Sony refused to sell a downgraded console here, so they simply waited. Now, the government has officially opened up that Wi-Fi band, and Sony has instantly received its BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification!

But here is the most exciting part: because we waited so long, India is not getting the old launch console. The BIS listing shows a brand new model number (CFI-7121). This is officially the “V2” version of the PS5 Pro. Early reports show that this newly revised machine fixes the heating issues of the original model. It draws less power, runs cooler, and the fans are roughly 20% quieter. So while the rest of the world bought the loud, first-generation models, Indian gamers will be getting the perfectly polished, silent version.

Why is every gamer jumping with joy over this? One word: GTA 6. According to all major reports, Rockstar’s massive new game will likely be locked at just 30 FPS on the normal PS5. For hardcore gamers, playing a fast-paced game like GTA at a choppy 30 FPS is a total nightmare. This upgraded PS5 Pro is the exact machine you need if you want a buttery-smooth 60 FPS experience with mind-blowing graphics and zero lag.

Now that the legal hurdles are cleared, the console is expected to hit official stores like Amazon, Croma, and Reliance Digital very soon. While we don’t have the exact price yet, the gaming community is hoping it lands between ₹75,000 and ₹80,000. It is definitely going to be an expensive machine, but for the ultimate Vice City experience without any frame drops, it is officially time to break the piggy bank!
